Feeling nostalgic today...

One year ago today - the day after Memorial Day - I received a phone call from the gentleman who put us in touch with Noah's birth family!!! One year ago today, we had 12- and 8-year old daughters and our lives were settled, easy, and organized. Today, exactly one year later, our lives are "fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants" (on GOOD days!), slightly more complicated, and ANYTHING but organized. And we are happy, happier than we could have ever imagined, and these pictures of our sweet boy show you why!! For those of you who we don't see often, Noah will be 10 months old on Saturday, and he started walking a couple of weeks ago!! He's getting more confident, and falls less and less often now. Sometimes he claps his hands while he's walking because he's so proud of himself!!! He also gets more tired than he used to, and even fell asleep one night at the dinner table : ) Today, as my 13 1/2-year old is getting ready to go to her tennis lesson, my 9 1/2-year old is at camp in Mississippi, and my almost 10-month old is sleeping in his crib, I am unbelievably thankful to our God, who in His sovereignty and love, has given us all these good things!
